Embarrass!

Last Saturday was an embarrassment of sorts! Met my nu ers to go to Sentosa for our youth V Day activity. Went to the toilet in Vivocity to change and realised to my horror that the strange feeling that I have been feeling since Friday night was true! Realised that I brought only my underwear and towel but forgot to bring my beach wear! Had to rushed to a shop and buy some beach wear. Thankfully, there was an offer going on! As a result, reached Sentosa late and missed the games and the friends appreciation. Even though I missed the games, still managed to squeezed in a brief game of frisbee with some of the youths.

The second embarrassment tops it all. Rushed to Orchard Parade Hotel for Peter's wedding. Went up the stairs to the second floor lobby and found a crowd gathered. In my haste, I just made my way to the first recpetion table, signed-in and deposited my ang bao into the gift box. The receptionist asked me who's friend I was and when she heard my answer, she replied that there are 2 weddings going on at the same location! What an embarrassment! Her assistant at the reception table had to empty the box to return me my ang bao and could not find it till the very last one which was mine! How did I ever land myself into such a red faced situation!

Overall, both situations have caused me to be reminded of the consequences of rushing and doing stuff at the very last minute.
