Your Mercies Endure Forever!

Red packets takings have always had a slight competitive tone every CNY. At the end of the day, when we return home, my sister and I would count our bounty for the day and I always end up with more. Well, what to do... I am a boy and the Chinese favour males more than females.

This year was a first of firsts. Sis actually got more than me! Not that I am complaining. Sis recently recieved a pay cut due to the recession and I was blessed with a job after being unemployed on a permanent basics for a year. Naturally the 'handouts' diminished on my side. This reminds me of the graceous and just nature of God. He never puts us in a situation that we are unable to handle. His blessings are never too late or too early. Just when He sees that another is in more need of His blessings, He redirects His blessing flow.

Lord, I am not complaining. In fact, I am thankful that Your love is never unceasing and Your mercy endures forever!
